Normal fees are payable by the last day of each week that your child attends, for the following week. This ensures that you are at least one week in advance at all times.

You may pay by EFTPOS, credit, cheque, money order or direct deposit- a no cash policy applies.

When you take holidays, we will reduce the “Gap Fee” (money you pay to the Centre over and above your CCB) by $10.00 per day for any of your holidays. Please give Two weeks notice in writing and pay your fee in advance. This will ensure that you retain your booking. This is available for up to four weeks in every calendar year. All fees need to be up to date to receive your $10 reduction at this time.

Because your child occupies a Permanent booking at the Centre, fees are payable for all booked days including absences, whatever the reason. This ensures that YOUR child’s place is always reserved and that fees overall, are kept to a minimum.

ALTERATIONS / TERMINATIONS
Please give us two weeks notice of any alterations or terminations of your normal booked days, otherwise two weeks fees in lieu will be charged. This notice ensures that fees are able to be kept to a minimum.

LATE FEES.
Rose Garden Childcare will offer your child a caring loving service in a joyful environment. In return, we expect you to honour your responsibility in paying your account. Should your account fall in arrears due to insufficient funds in your account, our bank’s penalty fee will be charged to you and you will be issued with a FRIENDLY REMINDER. If the account is then not brought up to date a FINAL REMINDER NOTICE will be issued with a 10% LATE FEE added to the account to cover administration costs and your child's enrolment at the Centre may be cancelled if payment is not received immediately. The Centre is registered with a Debt Collection Agency who will recover all outstanding fees.

If you have trouble paying your account, for whatever reason, please contact the Director and explain the situation, we may be able to assist. Please do not leave it until you are in debt.

The Centre closes sharply at the prescribed time, and any extension beyond that time is very costly owing to Government Regulations on staffing requirements, which must be observed. Accordingly, the Centre reserves the right to impose a late fee of $15.00 for each quarter hour or part thereof if a child remains at the Centre after closing time.

ALLOWABLE ABSENCES

Centrelink will subsidize 30 absent days that your child has from the Centre. If you have absences with Medical Certificates, these are considered over and above the 30 allowable days, so bring in your Doctor’s Certificates so we can extend your subsidized days just in case you take some time off during the year.

CHILDCARE ASSISTANCE (Fee relief)
Child Care Benefit (CCB) is a payment made by the Federal Government to families to assist with the costs of child care. Australian residents using child care provided by approved child care services may receive CCB.

To make a claim for CCB you must complete a "Claim for Child Care Benefit" form and lodge your claim form with Centrelink. Your CCB will be paid from the date of lodgment with Centrelink. If for any reason you are not eligible for CCB payments, you will be charged full fees for days that your child attends.

The percentage of Childcare Assistance you are entitled to is based on the family's income. Centrelink will be able to advise you of your subsidy.

In order to receive CCB, parents must sign every child in and out EVERYDAY they attend the Centre. To receive CCB for a child's absences, a record must be made of the reason for absence, including date and parent signature. Upon your child's return to the Centre please sign the appropriate day in the sign in folder and indicate the reason for absence eg. sick/holiday/RDO.

TAXATION BENEFITS
The Federal government has recently announced that 30% of the Gap Fee paid by parents for Childcare is tax deductible up to a maximum of $4,000 per annum. Your Tax advisor will be able to assist you with this claim.
